	Calvary Presbyterian Church Norfolk, VA Calvary Presbyterian Church was an existing structure that dated back to the 1950's. The existing building included a small sanctuary and a small "flat-roof" Christian education facility. 	Calvary Revival Church Virginia Beach, VA Calvary Revival Church is one of the fastest growing churches on the East Coast. Its founder and senior pastor is Bishop B. Courtney McBath. They have been housed in a 2,000-seat sanctuary that was first designed by Barnes Design Group several years ago. 	Greenbrier Church Virginia Beach, VA Greenbrier Church is a worship facility that seats approximately 400 parishioners. Adjacent to the existing sanctuary is a large Christian education space, which houses multiple classrooms and administrative offices. However, as the structure of the building grew over time, there was no master plan that incorporated all of the buildings. Thus a lobby/gathering space was never designed and their only entry was a very small lobby that connected hallways to the various classrooms. More »

The church purchased approximately 20-acres on the top of a mountain and had a desire to build 60,000 square foot facility which would incorporate a 600 seat sanctuary, classrooms, youth spaces, administrative spaces and social spaces within the entire structure. The major challenge was the shear size of the existing building and the industrial design of the existing building. 	Mount Pleasant Mennonite Church Chesapeake, VA The overall goal of the design for Mount Pleasant Mennonite Church was to provide a simple pre-engineered metal sub-structure that would keep construction cost to a minimum. The master plan was to incorporate this new building into a 25-year plan including a future softball field, soccer field, as well as an expansion to the existing elementary school on their site.
