River Oak Church Chesapeake, VA

River Oak Church commissioned Barnes Design Group to provide comprehensive master plan services for a new 15-acre tract which was recently purchased by the church. Barnes Design Group designed an 800-seat sanctuary for Phase I which included Christian education facilities as well as administration spaces and social areas. Phase II includes a 2,000-seat sanctuary. All site work was included in the design and the contemporary "non-churchy" architecture was compatible with the personality of River Oak Church.
